Nevada PIW Mule Deer

I posted in the Nevada forum but thought I would throw a post up here also. I drew I Nevada PIW Mule deer tag. I am limited on time and have been trying to decide between hiring a guide or DIY. I may spend some time on my own and then hire a guide if I am not having any success in finding a real "trophy of a lifetime". My goal is to get a chance at a 200" or better deer. I'm willing to not fill the tag if I'm not able to find that class of buck. Does anyone have a suggestion on what areas to concentrate on before deciding to go the guide route? Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Most guides will be booked early , if you wait you may not find a reputable one avaliable . Either way great tag to have and make sure you enjoy it

I've only seen three bucks over 200" in Nevada alive. My dad killed one in 2008 got a second place belt buckle out of it. The piw is a curse squeeze the trigger on a 190. Theres are a lot of great units in Nevada if you don't have time get a good guide. If you plan to hunt around Reno pm me I can help but haven't seen any monsters lately.
