Its always fun to score an animal and see how close you came to the actual score.
I killed this buck back in 2011, just for the hell of it, what does he score, I will post up the measurement's later.

I missed the cheater off of the left side when I looked at him earlier.... I would now say 189"

That is a sweet buck!

195-ish

But wouldn't be surprised if I short changed him on his frame a little bit.

I tried to "photo score" him using a score sheet and keep getting between 187 and 193 gross.

He's a gorgeous buck JakeH.

Wow that buck is a scoring machine... the only weakness is inside spread credit, a measurement I dislike anyway. My guess is 198 gross

I like the tine length. Inside spread is a killer on his score. I'm guessing 16" inside, and in my experience about the same for main beam length.

168" gross. Thanks for sharing

Man some of you guys had him nailed down perfect, good job.

He went 192 and some change gross, I cant remember the net score off the top of my head, but I don't really care for net scores anyway. I will see if I can find my score sheet tomorrow and give exact numbers.

His only true weakness was his inside spread that was only 16".

This is the only buck that had ground growth after I killed him as he had a tank of a body that just made everything look smaller than it was.

There's proof right there that I can get lucky with score guesses!
(Hopefully I'm getting a little better and can put it into practice on Sept 28th or so!)
Monster Muley for sure Jake!

Again great buck! Just goes to show there are a lot of people that have no idea what a 200" buck looks like. Let alone a 210"!!! Haha. The way I look at it is this, if you are within 5" on the low side or 3" on the hi side you really know how to judge them on the hoof!

I appreciate you being polite about underestimating your buck. Maybe you can help me figure out where I went wrong. I think it must be in the main beam length. If I guess them at 20" each then I can hit 190". Is this my error?

Silver.
I can't answer to exactly the length of the main beams but I had them at 19" myself. So you had them at about 9"'s??

Here are the measurments I took of the buck, my final gross was within a half inch of Rusty Hall's official measurement of the buck, I could not find the sheet that Rusty did for me but found one of my own.

Inside width: 16 4/8

Left antler:
MB 22 6/8
G1 4
G2 17 2/8
G3 12 4/8
G4 12 4/8
H1 4 4/8
H2 4 2/8
H3 3 6/8
H4 4 2/8
NTP 1 4/8
=87 2/8

Right antler:
MB 23 4/8
G1 4
G2 15 6/8
G3 12 2/8
G4 12 6/8
H1 4 4/8
H2 4 2/8
H3 3 6/8
H4 4 2/8
NTP 3 4/8
=88 4/8

87 2/8
+88 4/8
+16 4/8
=192 2/8 Gross N/T
- 2 6/8
=189 4/8 Net N/T

187 2/8 Gross Typical frame
-2 6/8 Deductions
=184 4/8 net frame
-5 for N/T points
=179 4/8 Net Typical

He has a 187 2/8 gross Frame and only has 2 6/8 deduction on his frame, -5 for his extras puts him at 179 4/8 Net Typical

I had them at 16". As a general rule, the main beam length is pretty near the inside spread. At least within an inch or 2. I failed to adjust my guess despite knowing the buck had a narrow inside spread.

LOL, I was wondering if you had some how looked it up somewhere else. You put a nail in the coffin that's for sure.
