Hey boys, I'm a newbie here to the site as well as new to Colorado hunting. As you may have been able to tell from my username, I'm used to sittin up in a tree stand on private land down in Alabama waiting for a hog whitetail to walk under me.I'm new to the strategy and tactics used for Western big game. Any suggestions/info you guys can provide me on what im getting into for this unit during the 2nd rifle season would be much appreciated. I've been building up preference points for 2 years but couldn't sit it out any longer and snagged this one as a leftover. I've read it gets a lot of hunters due to easy access.Know of any good bucks taken out of it? I'm also going to have an OTC Elk tag on me too, the success rate is pretty low for Elk but I figure why not.
