Ya sorry I wasn't sure if I did everything right to get the picture uploaded being the first time I have posted a pic.
I got lucky and drew the tag with 5 points I was pretty stoked. I passed lots and lots of little bucks. My wife and 2 year old little girl spent the whole time on the mountain with me which in my opinion was the best part of the whole experience. I shot him Monday morning at 28 yards after watching him for about 30 minutes through the spotting scope till he made his way into a stockable spot. im pretty happy with him he is my best buck to date. I met some really nice people on this site and on the mountain that I would like to thank for the help and pointers they shared. Best of luck to everyone this year.

Congratulations, young man! That's a fine representative of the area. Thanks for posting it up.

From my experience, that is an above average Book Cliffs buck. I would have a hard time passing him up on that unit.

Nice job

Great Books buck! I really like the look of that buck. Congrats! Headed down this weekend to hopefully find some more elk!

Nothing wrong with that buck..!! And having your wife and kid with you when you got him is pretty awesome..!! Thanks for sharing your success. :)

I'm heading out there in 3 hours, so maybe I'll turn up some big ones...
