Any legal weapon

I have a friend whose going to bowhunt the any legal weapon season. Anyone ever have any luck with this?

Deer being more skiddish. But ya you're right draw only state as well

I did that one year. Hunted the extended archery unit with my bow during rifle season.

I felt like a tourist in Afghanistan.

Trying to find a buck to spot and stalk in the midst of the pumpkin patch cured me of ever attempting that stunt again. Every buck I saw was running to the next country.

If you could hunt midweek that might not be a bad idea. On the weekend with the masses could be ugly.
