Colorado muzzleloader muley

I stalked to under 20 yds while this buck was sound asleep. I was lucky just to have found this buck considering I only had 1 day. My hunting partner got the altitude sickness and thought he was dying. He survived and I have this magnificent 28 inch trophy. The lure of the Colorado high country will be calling to me for another year.

I think this is the first time I've seen a non-archery velvet harvest on public land! Awesome work and congrats on a great buck!
