Anybody Heard How PUNK is Doing on His Hunt?

Tried Calling Him Several Times but His Mailbox is Full & He don't Plan on Emptying it I Guess!

I just got home from being down there since Sunday night. Slam has passed up numerous bucks each day, and a few have been in the mid 180's. The deer are starting to move into the area where we have been, and this morning he saw/passed 25 bucks. Yesterday was crazy and we were fogged out from sun up until 10am. He's still got a great attitude, and we have been sharing the same hunting holes with MB, WLH, Muley Crazy and Northrim. It's been a little busy to say the least.

Seen a group haul off a 4x5 this morning in the area where we were at, and they also took a 30" 3 point on Sunday. A few other deer have been seen in trucks, but nothing to big. Seems like everyone is passing on bucks in "hopes" of a gagger.

It's a weird hunt, and throw what you know about deer hunting out the window! The name of the game is just cover ground, and you will see new bucks everyday as they move in at night.

I guess Stinky saw one that he says would break 190, but that's it. I think there is to many people running around for his liking.
 
Is there any place to Hike?

Or do they Hunt it like the Book Cliffs?

You could hike but it's thick junipers, and not a lot of advantage points to glass from. I tried glassing from a point this morning and slam saw more bucks driving around then I did. Also when you find one glassing the chances of ever seeing it again are slim to none as they bail off the cliffs.

Those deer know their paths, and when you get on a path you'll see hundreds of different deer in there each day. But get more then 500 yards off the path and you won't see anything or even cut a track.
 
The Pauns is magical. It is definitely a unique place. Those "paths" are serious deer superhighways!

We've been good and patiently waiting but I think we're ready to throw a royal MM fit if we don't see your trophy soon! Lol
I'm just happy to hear that you found what you wanted.
I even petitioned Bess for a pics but he gave me some lame babble story like "I don't have any yet".
You've got us begging!!!!!!
