N. Utah buck

One he evening of day 5 I was able to take this buck. Clean shot at 480 yards. During the first five days of the hunt I passed 25 plus bucks. I had my sight set at 170 or better this year but when I caught a glimps at this buck bedded in the sunlight I couldn't hold back . The mass and height of this buck makes him special to me. Thanks to my buddy Spencer for packing in with me and hiking this nasty terrain.

Nice dark tall timber buck. Sometimes those tall bucks can surprise you when you score them. You only loose a few inches in the inside width measurement. Congrats !
