My dad got the buck he wanted. It was truly a once in a lifetime hunt, we were blessed from start to finish. Everything came together from stumbling into Doyle while scouting and his generous offer to help us out, to hunting together as a family for the first time in a long while, I can't say how amazing this really was!

You must be lieing! You bumped into the nefarious one and he didn't slash our tires or block all the roads, I smell a fish tale! :)

For real though, that is the deer of many lifetimes! Congrats to your Dad.

Did Doyle run over and grab the horns first before your Dad like he does all the other hunters?...(Sorry I just can not stand it when he does that!)

We did some horse trading with Doyle, kind of on the fly. My dad stumbled across him on the mtn while scouting, and we realized that we had some needs that the other could help out with. While it wasn't a traditional 'guided hunt' as I understood it, we had one of his guys with us during the hunt. I can't say enough how helpful Mossback was and how above and beyond they went to make this an amazing experience.

That is a giant buck for sure. Bigger than anything I've ever seen, let alone killed.*

Congratulations on one incredible buck. Like you, the only experience I've had running into Doyle Moss was very positive. While I didn't need his help, his offer to help me if it was needed ( with nothing expected in return) was appreciated. He's a good guy as far as I'm concerned.

That left back forks is just special. Whopper buck with a beautiful look. Congrats to you iiyr dad.

Great buck congrats to you guys sounds like an awesome hunt.
Sounds like I will be stumbling upon all the moss back guys on the wasatch from here on out. I hope the horror story's about their crew are not true. They sound decent from your experience

We ran into Doyle when my buddy's sister had a tag on the henery s he pointed us in the direction of a great buck that she missed and that Denny also missed after they passed him up the first time they seen him .must have been after something giant because the buck she missed was a monster !they never asked for anything other than to see the buck if we got him !haters gotta hate

So Beavis?

Was the Pics taken with a Camera that adds about 10" to a Buck or Bull?

The Buck looks about 37" Wide in the Pics!

Damn Nice Buck no matter how wide He is!

That's really cool of Moss to offer some help. I've always thought he was a really good dude.

That is an awesome buck. One I never seen in 2 trips down this fall. Congratulations. I have an in field experience to share of Doyle Moss. My 15 yr old cousin had drawn a Pauns Management tag. Doyle was helping/guiding another youth hunter down there as well. We crossed paths a couple of times. He asked for my phone # and gave me his saying if he could help to call. Well, one afternoon pulling into Kanab after the hunt, once I got cell service back, I had 9 missed calls from Doyle and 5 more from the office back in Utah county. Of course I called him back right away. He had located a buck and was trying his best to get a hold of me so he could tell me where. He even had his office call me 5 times. Again, I had not asked him for help. He did it all on his own. The next day, we located the buck near where he had advised and was able to take a very nice management buck. I believe Doyle to be a great guy. Dont know many of his guides, but I would imagine if they follow his lead , they are stand up guys as well. Without his help, I cant say my little cousin would have taken as nice of buck as he did.
