Heres my question... I bought a mathews ultra max bow and really like it alot. It shoots well and it's fast, I've taken a few animals with it but I keep hearing about the Q2 and legacy bows can anyone tell me what exactly the difference between them is? Thanks, Gary

I have the Legacy and the main difference is the legacy is better! hahahahaha! No the legacy( 34") has a shorter axle to axle than the Q2( 37" ). The other diffs are the string suppressors on the cam and rollerballcable guard. Both bows have the Harmonic dampeners. There are a lot of great bows made today so it doest't matter what you have as long as you shoot it well but I have have really grown fond of my Legacy.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-08-03 AT 07:12AM (MST)[p]Idaho, you got it all correct except for the length. Q2 is 34" axle to axle. I shoot the Q2, LOVE IT!!!

About $1000 is the only difference :)

Then you'll need a new string and cable, because the serving on the new one will fall apart right away. The quiver and rest plate will be different and you'll need new ones of those too.

The new bow will shoot about a 1/2 fps faster, be 26 grains lighter and vibrate at 1632 hz instead of the old one at 1784 hz. LOL!

I'll be if my buddies new Icon isn't a great shooting bow though. Just the cost of progress, I tell ya!

Cheers,
Pete
