I was reading through the proclomation for big game and finalizing my application. But had a question about the preference points. It says that a hunter will not receive a preference point if they are successful regardless of region or choice. (ie. if you chose Southern as your first choice and Northeastern as your second choice and drew a northeastern tag you would not be awarded any preference point). But my question is, what if you have 2 points and draw on your second choice. Do you lose those 2 previous points or just not pick up that 3rd point? Thanks for any help.
