My whitetail buck from this year was a rareity indeed! This was the first one my taxidermist has seen like this, and the 2nd the beatle guy had every seen. Neither are novices.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-01-07 AT 10:17PM (MST)[p]Those are tusk or ivories just like on elk. Don't see them very often but really good ones on that buck. My brother in law shot a buck last year with very small ones.
 
The whitetail I shot this year had them also.....I have killed 4 or 5 that I have noticed them on..
