Good looking bird. Nice base also. It's nice to get them done and outta the freezer. Good luck with the taxidermy.

I have heard that a freeze dried head on a turkey or even just a bird mount is the worst mount you can have in your collection. They get moths or some kind of larva that eat the mounts and then they spread to your big game heads. In only a matter of time the larva makes the hair fall out of your prize deer or elk head. It is expensive to get rid of the bugs.

They look good but is it worth all the hassle?

Archery is a year round commitment!!

the head on this turkey is freeze dried and if its done by somebody who is good at it they are in my opinion the best way to go but Anthony Eddy make a great artificial head as well.In my opinion never get a head skin mount make sure it is either a artificial or freeze dried head.Calley Morris does great freeze dried heads.

DANG TRAPPER JOHN! that is one heck of a display.. looks killer man nice job

Looks like he was eating a chocolate bar and smeared a little around his face, other than that he looks like a great job to me.

Not sure what your smoking, Turkeys are an amazing bird. One of my favorite birds to do taxidermy on.
