I have tried forever to post my pics but you can see them at http://www.photo.epson.com just type in jnobleinaz in the view friends box and it will bring them up. We hired Mullins guide service for our hunt. I don't care what any one says about guides. My dad brother and I all had this early bull tag and weren't about to waste it. These guys were great. My brother and I could only get up there a couple times because of work. The hunt was awesome! opening morning we went into cedar country and got onto a growler. The rut seemed to have peaked a week before during archery. They didn't come to the calss at all. But we followed his bugle and got a 325 yard shot across a ravine and then another at 350. We gave him an hour cause we couldn't see where he went it was really thick. When we finally went across the ravine to see his tracks he was laying 30yds from where I shot him. Game and fish scored him st camp at 387 but I measured him when I got back and he is right at 380. Deductions will be right around 375. No action on the second day but on sunday my dad shot a broken 6x6 that would have scored 350+. He was 325 with broken tines. My brother had passed on 8 bulls. On tuesday he shot a beautiful 6x7. Everything I dreamed of this hunt would be came out to be more than I expected. I learned a great amount of knowledge and hope we can draw this tag again in my lifetime....

can't get the pics to come up but sounds like you had an awesome hunt@! Congratulations!

unit 7. There was also a 375 plus taken by a 12 year old girl who her dad signed his tag down to. I wish I can do that for one of my girls someday. I don't care about saying what unit cause everyone knows there's monsters all over this state.. thanks

270 - Thanks for the story and photos. If I'm not mistaken, that was your first Elk Hunt. Man - you ought to quit right now, and just tell everyone that shooting monster Elk was too easy :D

Have fun with your awesome deer tag. With your good luck, you might just smack a toad in the 210" range -if you do, I am going to refer to you as "Golden boy"
