Anybody know anything about a 419-inch typical archery bull from Arizona that people are talking about? Another thread here says it was taken by a Washington hunter.

If that score holds true, could be a new P&Y world record. That would apparently be the 2nd such bull from Arizona this fall!

Would of been but Chuck Adams killed anoter monster outa Montana that scored 426 green. Must be nice to hunt for a living.

So when are pictures of Chucks "new world record" coming out? The 60 day drying period is up, isnt it? Its got to be a monster!

Chuck Adams bull scored 426 gross green, around 414 net. I'm not sure what the Arizona bull net scores.

"It's a straight-up six point, so there is nothing really debatable," Adams told ESPNOutdoors.com. "As far as the gross green score, my score is 425 2/8 inches and the green net (score) is 414 1/8 inches."

The great thing is that there are more from were Chuck killed that one that could be as big. Many are on public land just hard to kill. My friend found a shed on his ranch that is a 7 typical and scores 202. That's just the one side. It weighs 17 pounds. He couldn't find the other side though. The thought of that gross score gets me goose bumps. I love Montana.

Am I wrong thinking that there basically IS NO public land near where Chuck got his bull? I mean, besides a school section here or there?

If I've kept track right, I am pretty sure AZ will get typ and nontyp world records this year. Unreal. Specially unreal when you also figure that Chuck got another world record....and, I think.....that there was another bull in AZ killed that would have broke the nontyp record, but the 439er beats it out before it even gets out the gate!

Horn seeker,
do you really think that there are only 400 class bulls on the ranch he hunts? They shot another 412 or something with a rifle on public this fall out there. My friends shed he found wasn't even in the breaks. A guy from my hometown killed one with his bow in the bull mtns. that unoffically is in the 420 non typical range. Besides all it takes is being on one of those state sections when there moving through and there you have your chance.

Man those are big bulls you guys are taking about!!! What puplic land can be hunted that has those kind of bulls ?

i posted this pic 2 days after it was taken, back in september. it has been officialy scored at 430 6/8 gross and 421 7/8 net. it was an "arrowed" bull taken in washington state by a washington hunter on public land and has since had a full body mount...

Littlefoot, where will that bull rank in the Washington book? New #1? It was certainly a great year for huge bulls across the country.
