MT Gun case laws

I can't find it in the regs anywhere, do you need to case your guns in MT?

LAST EDITED ON Oct-11-07 AT 02:52PM (MST)[p]i grew up in MT and i have never even considered having my gun in a case in my vehicle during hunting season. I cannot count the number of ranchers who have gun racks chock full of weapons in the rear window of their pick-up.

You do not need to have you gun cased in a vehicle. You can even have it loaded if you choose.

No case required...just don't drive down the road with it hanging out your window and you will be fine.
