Man it sure is slow over here!!!!! So how has everyone done so far, have you heard of anything big being taken? My Bro inlaw missed a 6x6 and then the next day couldn't get in on the 7x7. This is on the coast.....

Slow on the east side also. I haven't heard of anything decent harvested over here yet.

Hunting Up In The Cascades. Havent heard a bugle yet. Scouted a herd of about 30 during the whole summer.. Saw 2 elk over the weekend. Someone had to spook these elk or something? Oh well hopefully this weekend is better. Good Luck to all.

My brother got his bull Thursday night in the Cascades. Bugled, got an answer and a cow led to the bull to him, a small 5X5 and that is all I have heard about. I was with my son opening weekend and I saw several big bulls together and the spikes were still in velvet, heard some cows talking but the big boys didn't seem too interested yet.
