Nice bull Tommy! I have a buddy that went with his dad for their second Gila hunt a couple weeks ago and both got real nice bulls. I dont know what outfit they hunted with, just know the guide/outfitters name was Billy and he hunted with mules. Anyway, I'll have to get his dads bulls pic to scan and make sure I can post it, already got my buddys... His is a 44" wide 6x6 and his dads is a super massive 51" wide 6x8... both have busted points, but both are very nice mature bulls...

There's two Billy's that I know one is Billy Nelson of Apache creek and Billy Lee of Mimbres Valley. Both good guides. There were some great bulls taken this year in 15 and 16. A friend of mine son from Mule creek took his second bull over 360" in the last four years, and get this he's only 13 years old. I'll see if I can get a pic.

Another great Bull, which side did you get him on the old 15A or B?

Sorry I didn't get back with you last month on my weather question on the unit, we took off early on the hunt. It was a good hunt also, my buddy got a nice 5X6.

We outfitted 7 muzzlehunters this fall. We took 5 bulls. 3 of them came from 15. Seems like 15 went down hill a bit when the depredation BS hit the fan in 2000-2001. I'd submit there are still some darn good bulls in 15. The three we took are on my site at www.newmexicobiggamehunting.com first photo page. You can see the genes are still there. The biggest of the three was about 380 gross. The nexr down was a bit over 360 gross.
