My brother and I did really well. We both took two very nice bucks and saw many more smaller bucks. No monsters by any means, but meat in the freezer. We did do two weeks of scouting before deciding on the area we wanted to hunt.
The area we hunted had little to no hunting pressure to my surprise. It seems to be mostly an Elk area but now that the wolves have moved in, the Elk are thinning out. We could have killed several nice Bulls had we been there for Elk. The funds just aren't there for us to hunt Elk, maybe next year.
