What to do with rack?

Howdy,
I took a bull this year that was better than I ever expected. I knew a shoulder mount would never look right with the 8 foot ceilings in my house so I opted for a european mount. I hung the rack over the fireplace today and my wife was not pleased with the results. The rack is just too big to hang here.
Someday I may move to a larger home. Until then I have to do something with this rack. Does amyone know if the sporting goods stores take racks on loan? I was thinking maybe that would be a good thing to do. That way I could visit it whenever I need more goodies. The rack would then have a place to hang where people could enjoy looking at it. Any suggestions?

Kevin Sounds like you need to take your pants off your Wife and start Wearing them again.

Just Kiddin, Im sure I will have the same problem eventually.
Good luck!!!

Kevin,
How about the wall in your garage, that way you still have it at home and don't have to worry about something happening to it at some store.

Kevin

TAKE THE HOME ITERIOR DOWN AND PUT THE RACK BACK ON THE WALL!!!

YOU'VE GOT TO KEEP IT SOMEWHERE SAFE AND WHERE YOU CAN LOOK AT IT ONCE IN A WHILE!!!

THE ONLY bobcat LOOKING FOR A NICE 'RACK'!!!

Kevin,
Keep the rack and get a new wife!!!..LOL. Sorry, just a little man joke... Put it in a back bedroom for safe keeping..

In an attempt to save a failing marriage, I will gladly accept the rack, just mail it to me.

Kevin, i have had a couple bucks in a garts sports store my buddy managed! He was good about displaying them for me until I had my house built, I bet if you check with a manager at the sporting good store and write it up and put your name on it or something they will just hang it for you, hey they may even put your name the year and the area beneath the rack, to make you a local celeb!

get a harnest on it so in the fall you can put it on your head and start bugeling when your wife goes into heat!/ J/k I have the same dilema I shot a bigger elk than I could have ever dreamed so I'm just trying to figure how I'm going to put them up in my house, when I get a house that is.

Before I was married I had sheds and European mounts all
over my house, then a week after I got hitched they started
to migrate to the garage, now I have 1 head and 2 sheds in
the house, the worst part is she now has a deer and antelope
hanging where mine where. We have a guest house in the back
yard and soon I will be remodeling it, fully equiped with
racks for all my sheds, pooltable, keg-arator, and an extra
bed for all my hunting buddys.

Find and locate the ceiling joist in you bed room, living room, or dining room. insert a couple inserts such as plant hangers and now lace your rack to the ceiling. use leather straps, and perferably around a light location.
this does make a great conversation peice,
and gives you that chandelair affect.
It's out of the way and you get to view it when ever you want.
or send it to me I'll mount it as mentioned above and send you a picture, wallet size so you can see it any time you want.
