I killed a spike elk this year during rifle season for my first elk. It had two 1" points on the base of each antler and I was wondering if I counted those points?

LMAO 13, I guess I cant argue with that theory either. If it makes you feel better about the size or quality of the elk, I agree, go ahead and count them. Hope your not doing it so you can tell your buddies " it was not a spike, it was a 2x2!!".
