76 or 61

i plan on using my points this year, and hoping to get some comments on which unit some of you have hunted in. trying to go to the better unit for hopfully a nicer bull. if you had the choice which unit would you hunt. unguided, but with horses.

I have hunted 76 during archery and killed a nice 5X6. I think unit 61 is known for having more elk and probably a little bigger elk as well.

Buddy of mine hunted in 76 with a smoke pole two years ago seen alot of nice bulls but nothing huge so he took a rag. My cousin hunted 61 about 4 years ago and missed a nice 6X7 that he said would go 350-360 but I think it is what kind of hunt your lookin for. In 76 your huntin in a foot of snow in archery season in 61 you might get snow in 3rd so I think that is really more important than which has better elk because I think they are both real close in that aspect.
