Man, you got big ones posting a picture of a shed like that, and telling exactly where it was found... you better expect a little more compition come spring, there are some shiesters that frequent this board

The problem with this area, is it's straight up and down. YOu can spend 4 days fighting the scrub oak and never find a piece of bone. I no longer shed this area. I lucked out and saw the elk drop, I spent weeks looking for the other side. All I found were other peoples fresh foot tracks.

Good luck! it must drive you crazy knowing its out there some where. whether on the mountain or in somebodys house. What does that one side score. its awesome.

Hi Garrett,
It only scores 158-160", with a 46" main beam. Just think if he had 53" main beams. That would almost be enough for a 375" book bull. He has a short main beam, but his tines are very nice. His brow tines go out and curve back nicely. His dagger is 23 1/2" long. And look how heavy!, all the way back!. He was a neat bull to watch on the winter range. I hope he is back this year.

You must of inspired someone, there's already people chasing the bulls around in Daniels. Can't believe people are starting this early-saw 3 guys hiking up there just a couple of hours ago. C'mon guys we've got a good month till the elk really start dropping! It's getting to be a freaking joke around Heber....

I SEEN THE BULL WITH ANOTHER 7x7 BULL IN DEC OF 2002!!!
I THOUGHT THE 7x7 WAS A RECORD BULL TILL I SEEN THE WIDTH!!!
THE TWO BULLS WERE QUITE OPPOSITE OF EACH OTHER,THE ONE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR WAS WIDE WITH A MEDIUM MAIN BEAM,THE 7x7 HAD A GREAT MAIN BEAM BUT A REAL NARROW SPREAD!!!
IF THEY (SHEDHUNTERS) ARE PUSHING ELK AROUND ALREADY,THEY OUGHT TO HAVE THEIR HEAD EXAMINED!!!

You guys are absolutely correct!!!
I have never seen a bull drop this early.
My bull droped 2nd week of March. All the other bulls still had both sides. In fact, I saw bulls the end of april with one or two sides.
Also, yes the other bull looked to be 380, but was too narrow. Most likely he was around 368. I never saw him drop.
I'm getting into some awesome muley sheds this year!!!

How is it that you don't realize that coming to the freakin internet and telling specifics about where you found such a nice shed isn't going to effect those elk up there? Is there anywhere else in particular you would like to tell everyone about so that another herd can suffer undue stress on their wintering range! They need all their reserves to even survive!

Rob, thanks for answer my question. Still that bull is awesome. i wish you the best of luck. I know if i saw a bull like that in my sights i would be hard to keep steady. I hope you find it. I am looking for a lost set of antlers my self up here in washington. so i know how you feel. Good luck

You don't think there is already 250 guys looking. SOmeone has the other side to every shed you'll ever find in Utah. 100's of guys shed hunt every freakin wintering elk area in the state. If the elk were in such major stress, I think the Fish and Game would have outlawed shed hunting by now!! Don't you freakin think???

Oh I stand corrected,good luck finding the other side to that shed. Mabey the guy that has it doesn't come on here to MM. Mabey you could post a picture at your local Sportsmans and get lucky that way.
