Bear/LE El kHunts??

I see as I get my Bear appl. ready to send off that the bear dates are right along with the LE bow-elk dates. Anyone had any problems with hounds running all over while they try and bow-elk?? I'm into the Panguich Lake area Bear and was thinking with all the private ground and LE elk hunters I might not have made the right Bear choice??

I was hunting New Mexico a few years ago and had a big 330 bull coming into about 75 yards when I noticed hound music coming my direction. Although they did not blow through the herd, they did cause them to shut up and change directions. I went from a near perfect set up and possible shot to a long hike back to camp. I don't have any experience with bear hunters screwing me up here in Utah. But I know they can! Good luck to you in drawing the tag and the hunt! Have a great day!
