New Binos

I have never looked at the fancy binos alot of you talk about on here cause I know I can't afford them. I recently did some fence building for a freind of mine and he offered to pay me by letting me pick some hunting equipment. I got a pair of Alpen 10x42 long eye relief binos for $80, he sold them to me for his cost, I later found a pair in sportsmen warehouse for $140. If those expensive binos you all talk about are better than these I am curious to look through a pair of them. I have been very impressed with the Alpens. If anyone is looking for some very good binos for a very reasonable price I would recommend they check out Alpens.

Idhunter, i too use the Alpen binos and love them. i have the 12x50 and i paid 219 for them on ebay, i have seen msrp's on them from 399-479 i love them and think that they are great for the money. my dad has docter 15x60 and they are good, but i like the alpens better. mine have the twist up eye cups, and last time i was out glassing, the sun was at my back and was causing "spots" on the glass, i simply raised up the twist up eye cups and they went away i really like them and will hopefully glass up several 80 and 90" coues bucks here in about 10 or 11 days.

Alpen also makes a very highly rated spotting scope. I haven't personally seen it but only what I've read.

Thanks for the info. Glad you like them. You saved a ton of money!
