unit suggestions

I am new to elk hunting, but not hunting in general. I just purchased a 30.06 and am planning on working up some elk loads. I hope to draw out a Utah cow tag this year and wonder if some of the experienced hunters could help me out with which unit to put in for. I have a buddy that hunts the Mt. Dutton unit and I may go with him this year. Any other suggestions for a rookie? I will leave the bulls alone for the time being. Right now I am more interested in getting some meat in the freezer and having a good time in the field. Thanks for any advice!
