Bowhunters...NRA Supporters??

OK, I am a serious supporter of the NRA as I am sure many of you rifle hunters are as well. I am curious to see how many bow hunters also support the NRA....

With these huge bill pushes to congress and people like Hillary Clinton, I would think that eventually their goal would be to ban ALL weapons - rifle or not.

Keep the past-time going for all us responsible users!!!

I am a big Bow hunter, Muzz hunter, and rifle hunter. I had been thinking about jointing the NRA for several years now but just never got arround to doing it. Last weekend I got a phone call from the NRA asking me to joint up. The wife was not arround to verrify that it was OK so I did it anyway. Now I am just waiting to get my new stuff (NRS shooters cap, NRA pocket nife, and NRA window decal)in the mail.

I have been hunting with both gun and bow for the past 20+ years, and have been an NRA member & supporter for about the same period. You'll probably find that most archers also own or hunt with fireams also.

I'm a hard core bowhunter, having never gun hunted in my 25+ years of hunting addiction. However, I'v been an NRA member for at least 20 years. They not only fight for gun laws, but hunting as well.

Damn skippy , there was a time when I was too small to pull a bow , my dad started taking me huntin when I was 5 years old , and didn't start bowhuntnin till I was 18 and truely a bow nutt since I was 21 , I'm 30 now and do support the NRA ....NMhuntnutt

Man it's good to see that good supporters are out there. I have been hunting for 25 years and expect my boys will be as avid an outdoorsman as I am. We should all do whatever we can to keep uneducated people like Hillary to back off. Doesn't she realize you can't take the crime away from a criminal??? I wonder what the percentage of vehicular homicides compares to gun accidents in the us?

I support their point of view and programs, but I do not support their politics. They are supposed to be bipartisan, but all that I see is conservative republicans donating money to the same. I'm I a member, no. Will I be? When I get the money to buy a life membership, yes.
