Need Help for Elk hunt this year

Ok guys heres the dilemma i have. I missed out on the elk hunt last year only to hear that my uncle harvested a nice 7x7 in the monte cristo area. That and the fact my son was born a week before the hunt I pretty much had no choice but not to go. So I am asking all you fellow MMers for a little help. I want to harvest a good bull this year in the 300-340 range I aint out to break records this year I just want something i can hang on the wall and remember the good times had during that hunt. If any of you know any good any bull areas please please for the love of all that is holy in hunting let me know. I am not looking for your secret hidey holes just a general area to hunt.

BBH, i hunt up around the monti cristo area for deer havent for elk yet but why dont we plan a trip up there this year and try for 1 of those big bulls that come off of deserets land? there is a few spots over there that look pretty promising why dont we hook up this summer and go scouting? whatta say? you can e-mail me if you want at [email protected]
