Cleaning optics

I have a pair of swarovski binos and was wondering what is the proper way of cleaning the lenses?? I have heard nothing but bad about the leupold pen marker. Any Info would be greatly appreciated Thanks Dustin

There is a post about this very subject on the forums here, you will have to run a search and find it then read what has been said. At the top of each forum/posting there is a word that says "search" clickon that and enter the subject in and this site will seach for all available matters pertaining to your request.
NO LEUPOLD PENS.

I have stolen a retractable make-up brush from my wife,
clean it in soap and water and let it dry. use it to clean
the dust off the lens. Do not use your shirt, toilet paper,
or the lens pen with the cloth end just the brush.

I'm with NVMDF. Just use the brush to remove dust. Hold under the tap and run warm water over lens to remove smudges.

I am guilty of using a Leupold lens pen...I was surprised to see such negativity towards them...please elaborate so I can change my ways...does the cloth end scratch lenses? I havent noticed it but havent used it much. I mainly use the brush.

I use one of those high pressure air (?) canisters that are used to blow dust off a PC keyboard.
