LAST EDITED ON May-11-18 AT 10:52AM (MST)[p]I got a pending charge today for 4 general season deer tags ($160)!
Here we go!

Based on past years do you guys know if the charges keep coming in the next few days or am I suppose to expect a charge today only? (If I drew of course)

They will come for several days. Both from the drawing and some card companies are quicker than others. You can call your card and ask for pending that has mot posted and they will tell you. Cabela's card takes a couple days after they get them to show up.

They can hit for up to a week or so. Heaviest hits will be over the next day or 2 if these guys really did get hit.

>Someone In the family is going
>moose hunting

Sweet! I drew in 08 was sooo fun.

Are any of you with pending charges nonresidents by chance? So far I've only heard of residents with hits so far

>$1505 for a non resident Bull
>tag in Utah?

For multi season can hunt archery muzz and both rifle seasons. So 4 hunts

>$1505 for a non resident Bull
>tag in Utah?

It's a multi season limited entry bull tag. I believe the standard LE nonresident tag is $700. I paid $1200 a couple years ago when I drew my NV bull tag. I either drew the Fishlake or Manti multi season tag in UT. I likely draw a NV cow tag and CO cow tag this year too. I'm going to have to start stripping again to make some extra coin!

Just a $40 resident charge for me. That means I didn't draw an LE deer tag though.

Legacy, isn't $180 the cost of an LE deer tag? 4x$40 would be $160 not $180. Just sayin :)

Cheers to all those who've drawn. At least I know I get to go deer hunting somewhere for up to 4 months.

Yeah, that was a typo on my part. I meant to type $160. I was holding out hope for a LE deer tag this year but no such luck. My wife drew the tag I was hoping to draw last year with 11 points! I had 15 going into this year and still can't draw it. Her luck is much better than mine apparently.

I'm trying to figure out if there is a method to the madness? My card was hit today at 3pm. Last name starts with L.. were the cards hit yesterday ahead in alphabetic order..??
Both hits were for my kids, residents... I'm a non resident, do I still have hope????

No charges, so may be another UNSUCCESSFUL year in the Beehive state. You would think after two decades, I'd get lucky once!

Non-Res, Cabelas C/C just got hit for $ 1,518. Thinking Mtn Goat since I had 19 pts.

Good luck all of you!

I finally called customer service.

One general $40 hit for my son. Now I know for sure me and him will spend 10 days together on muzzleloader deer hunt?

Card got hit this morning at 10:00 o?clock with the last name starting with an ?A?

LAST EDITED ON May-11-18 AT 00:51AM (MST)[p]Card just got hit, theres still hope hang in there ... non resident general deer muzzy tag. If you draw a general deer tag, and then another tag for a different species will it be on the same charge or multiple?

I believe it will be separate charges?
Last year I drew general deer and a limited bull tag, and they were separate charges...

>I believe it will be separate
>charges?

Did they show up at the same time or were there a few days in between?

It was at least 1 day between charges...
Another thing to consider, did you do all your applications in one session? I tend to put in for my OIAL and limited hunts first, then do my general hunts later in a separate session...
Not sure if that will make a difference or not?
No hits for me yet, but I did points only for dedicated and general hunts, and I drew a limited tag last year, and a OIAL the year before, so I'm in rebuilding mode...
Congratulations again to everyone who's been hit!!!

I got hit for non resident elk (800) but forgot what the heck I put in for. Tried searching for the email but it is gone. If I call DNR will/can they tell me what I got?

Thanks,

Josh

They will tell only what you put in for Hunt number

Dedicated hunter deer tag for my son, we're hunting deer the next 2-3 years! Even if that's all we get I'm super pumped!

Just got smacked in the face with s $513 hit on the credit card. Either my son drew a Zion sheep tag or I drew a Nine Mile Rocky tag. HOLY SHIZ !!!!!

Why do them separate?

LAST EDITED ON May-11-18 AT 03:35PM (MST)[p]Just got dinged for my general deer tag. It was within the last few hours too. There's still hope fellas!

I would think the company doing the drawing is done. I think the hits you are seeing this late are the different speed of the C. Card companies. I hope I am wrong but? Kind of frustrated. Working in the twenty's now on moose points and could be another decade left to go.

theox,
No reason in particular...
Can?t decide what general unit to apply for, or it's usually I'm waiting for my family and friends to decide what they're doing?
Gotta make sure I get the important stuff first!!!

Damn that's awesome!!! Congrats on whatever tag it is, I too was in the Nine Mile lotto...

I have one hit from general deer for my son. I expect another dedicated hunter hit for me, as I had 4 points - it should be 100%, so I don't think they are done hitting cards yet. Last year seemed some people had charges on the same card 3-5 days apart. At least I'm telling myself to have hope.

Got a email last night NOT good news.
unsuccessful.

No card activity yet and no email. Probably not good news but I still hold out some hope. Already pulled a couple tags this year so it wont be too tragic but I always hate to see the string of UNS in my email.

Just got the email, I drew the Nine Mile ?Jack Creek? Rocky Mountain sheep tag. Oh snap !!!! It's gonna be a long 5 months.

Wow. 6 family members, 16 applied for species and only one general muzzy deer tag ($40). Lucky for me I went dedicated deer last year?.

Guess it will be Idaho bear, Wyoming deer, Utah muzzy deer with son for 9 days and the general muzzy Utah elk with three son for 9 days. Always make the best of what we draw?.

As of Sunday night at 10:47 pm, my wife, dad and daughter have all received their emails (as of Saturday). Although I know I drew a general season deer tag, I still have not yet received an email. So until further notice, I'm assuming I drew a moose tag. ?

LAST EDITED ON May-13-18 AT 11:28PM (MST)[p]Finally received my email at 9 o?clock Sunday night , so I for sure have a Zion general season deer tag in my pocket if anyone is willing to give a helping hand and let me know where not to focus on or waste my time that would be great and always helpful!

I had called the DNR on Friday but they indicated they couldn't give me the hunt code either. Sooo, I had to wait until Saturday morn to get the results. I drew a NR SW Desert Muzzle elk tag! Now time to get some scouting done. Pretty excited!! Good luck to all!
