I would like to know from any and all who have first hand experience with eithor or both of these packs, which thay feel is the better pack for bow and rifle hunting elk?

I have narrowed my choices down to one of these two packs, as I am looking for a light, but not super light weight pack for bow and gun hunting for elk. Thay are both the same size, but the Nimrod seems slightly better designed, but its 2x the price of the Tarantula, not that price would prohibit me from buying the N150.

I would greatly appreciate opinions of each packs design, functionabillity, durrability, and over all usefullness for hunting elk in the mountains.

Greatest of thanks to all who help me out on this and for their time in doing so.

Regards and best of luck to all in 04s elk draws,
ART.

I've never checked out the Nimrod packs, but carry the Tarantula packs. The big expedition is quite nice and has a gear flap for carrying your bow up the mountain in the morning (see pic).
PS - I'll be adding Crooked Horn Packs soon. Excellent prices too!
