Here are some pictures that 270Longshot sent to me asking me to post for him.
Said the Taxidermy work was by Brett Prentice at Game Trails Taxidermy and that his mount was at the RMEF Banquet last weekend in Phoenix. Nice mount John, the dark pictures would have been better if a flash was used but none the less still a great set of pictures.

Great looking elk!!!! I guess I have never been a big fan of that type of mount though. But on the other hand, I wish I had an Elk that big to even mount in the first place.

LAST EDITED ON May-14-04 AT 03:35PM (MST)[p]Ya this is my unit 7 elk. I had to do a bugle mount cause my ceilings are only 9ft. This way you can walk underneath it with no problem. I didn't realize the flash didn't go off. Brett had to put an extra 3/4 inch piece of plywood and 3 bump outs on the back of the form cause the spread hit the wall. Now I have 1/4 clearance. But that is a cool problen to have.
