water in unit 52 NM

How is the water situation? Just curious how things are shaping up for this fall. Just over 3 months until I return - 1 year is to long between elk hunts.

Don,
We had some good spring snows statewide. Unit 52 is one of the wetter units in the state. Water shouldn't be an issue here.

native brook, brown..at the stream..

laguita lake, stocked trouts..but for sure ll check out the elk, deer and the bear!!

How did the fishing go? I did some fishing for Cutts up in the Pecos Wilderness over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. Still lots of snow, but the fishing was superb. Sizes ranged from 12" to 17". Haven't been fishing in 52 but heard its pretty good.

fishing up at osier creek and beaver creek was real good...but cute fish, size range from 6" to 10" native brown and few cutt..

Fishing at the lake was fun also..saw many elk, some are going to be nice bulls!! saw 3 5x5 already.still growing to probably 6x6..mostly are raghorns, cows with calves, 3 doe deer, antelopes on way home!!

too many people on ATV's...
