Idaho units 49 - 50

[Ridge_Runner]

Put in tfor these two units as 1st and 2nd choice. If drawn we will have about a week of scouting before the season but these are new units to us. Any kind of info would be appreciated. Have spoke to the Biologists and they say get away from the roads and you should do ok. Got the fingers crossed. Thanks in advance.

Hunted 49 a couple of times. Let me know if you draw.Hope you got horses or backpack.

Copper Basin in 50. BIG BIG BULLS. State record archery bull was killed here in last few years. Get up to the head of the springs and you'll be into the elk. Good Luck!

Thanks guys for the info. Got the fingers crossed for the draw but may hunt it for the general Deer season also.Studying the maps now and just waiting.Plan is to set a camp somewhere and then backpack up into the higher country.
