NM elk fee question???

I got a Valles Caldera chance and then had to send check for the $481 to the state. I also put in for the regular draw via credit card. Will they charge my card or just keep my money
if I make the regular draw and then have to wait for a refund.

I did not get the 2004 rules booklet to find out.

The regular drawings as I read it, you should only be charged the application fee on your credit card $ 6.00. Then the rest if you draw. Not sure on Valles Caldera.

I to put in for the VC. Its my understanding that you will get charged the $6 for the app but if you don't draw you'll get $475 back. As for the normal draw, if you do get lucky they will debit your card. Oh ya, they will do the VC draw first. If you win there, your out of the regular draw. I think.......Good Luck-Jim

Seeing as you had to send the Check for the V.C. in with the application, I just filled out the 'Regular' draw application and sent it with the V.C. appl. and the Check. made it all simple for them and for me.......
