Potholes, UT

Anyone hunt the "potholes" area? What's there and what's not? Worth scouting or not? I'm sure if someone hunts there they will know where I'm talking about. Planning a scouting trip here in the next couple weeks. Thought I might check this area out as it's pretty close to some favorite haunts of mine.

We used to hunt the potholes back in the early 80's but havn't been back since 91... so Im not much help but we never did real well maybe two elk in 10 years.

IT hasn't been very good the last 5-6 years some rag horns and maybe one O.K heard bull every year. last year I scene 3 bulls come out of that area and two of them were spikes, nothing on the potholes side. I hunt the bowden draw side and usually drop over in to the potholes, and work my way next to daimond mtn.
It has flat ass sucked, for supposing to have the largest elk heard in the state.
