NM 16c Elk Yess!! Need Advice on Guide

I have been applying to NM for elk for 5 years. Finally drew! Any suggestions on good outfitters/guides there would be greatly appreciated.

Congatulations on drawing a gila tag. I on the other hand did not draw anything at all, but anyways may I suggest Beaverhead Outfitters. I also work for them as well and they know 16c very well 2 years ago they killed a bull a 6x6 that grossed over 400 on the early bow hunt. Very friendly people to work for and have guides that work for them that know the country very well.

Thanks very much for the information. Do they do a horseback hunt and have you hunted that unit?

I also drew a 16C tag. I used to work at the Beaverhead WC. Oct 20-24, I have bow hunted that unit twice and assisted on another hunt in that unit.
