I took these pictures about a block from my house one morning on my way to work! I crawled to the edge of the field and snapped a couple. Does anyone have any idea what these bad boys would score? I scored a deer earlier this year that grossed 174, but I think these two are bigger. Enjoy! GlomDawg

Very nice pictures! I want it to be summer already with the bowhunt just around the corner. What city were these taken in?

Howdy neighbor! I live in Colorado Springs as well. Could you shoot me an email about where you saw the bucks in the picture as well as what part of town you live in? I would like to take some pictures myself.

Those are some nice ones glomdawg.I'm no expert in scoring but I'll give it a guess........

The buck on the left 165

The buck on the right 175

Both shooter's in my book!

Droptine & Glomdawg,

I also live in the Springs. I thought I was the only one on here from this part of the state. Pretty cool to know there are some MM members in the area.

Oh yeah if you could shoot me an e-mail on the area you saw these brutes, it would be appreciated. I think I have a pretty good idea as to where they might have been. Maybe we can trade some information.

Thanks,
Justin

Those are some nice pictures of great bucks.
The buck on the left wont go as high as you think. He is missing his G1's so i'am going to say he is a 158 - 163 typical. The oother buck will go around about the same.

Nice pictures. I would love to be able to drive by that on the way to work. As for score, I think both would net somewhere in the low 160's. Man I sure like looking at bucks in the velvet. Thanks.

Yeah dudes..... I live on the west side. I've taken pictures from Castle Rock all the way to Fort Carson on the Front Range, as well as a bunch up in the mountains (Cripple Creek, Woodland Park, Buena Vista, Leadville, on the way skiing, while hiking, etc...) Some good spots in town are SW near the zoo/broadmoor, Rockrimmon, and near Glen Erie.. Tim

I'm from the Springs as well. A real good place to find some brutes is off Marksheffel Rd. There are some really big 4X4's in that creek bottom from just north of Bradley to Fountain.
Fort Carson is my favorite spot. I like to walk in the creek bottoms near the Airfield.

COHunter,

Are you talking about down in the peaceful valley area? I live right off of Bradley Rd. I'm hopefully gonna draw a buck tag down at Fort Carson here either this up coming season or the year after. Things are starting to get pretty screwy down there, but there are some monster bucks in there. There are some pretty big whitetail bucks down on pinellos ranch along fountain creek also. Startin to get a pretty big herd down there if you guys were interested in getting some pics of some big whiteys.

Justin

Justhuntn,
I go East on Drennen and they will be standing in the feild close to the creek bottom. There are 3 Bucks running together. I have seen some really nice Deer at the Golf course too. How can you miss the Whitetails on Pinello's, and the Turkeys and Canada Geese(not this year though).
Where off Bradley are you ? I also live off Bradley Rd. I live in the track across from Windmill Mesa on Hunters Run Tr.

COHunter

No way!! I live on Almont Ave. just off of Marabou Way. You must just be right around the corner.

JustHuntn,
Hey do you have a Deer head in your livingroom that you like to show off at night by leaving your curtains open and the livingroom light on ? When the wife and I go on our walks, I always see that mount looking out the window. I believe its Almont that I see the Deer.

COHunter,

Nope, not yet, but when I get one big enough to mount you better believe it will be in the front window so everyon can see it. I haven't even seen the house your talking about, although I don't get out in the neighborhood to often. Is he a biggen?
