Elk Fever

Got it bad. Is there a cure?

I all do is go over maps. Shoot my bow. Exercise. Practice calling. Look at the forums. Look at maps. Go over list of supplies. Can't sleep because of going over senerios in my head at night. Watched the primos show last night and - WOW.

Death (and I'm not sure about that).
I get it worst in January. Atleast this time of the year, we know its close. It throws me into a cold sweat sometimes.
The strangest part to me is that success feeds it. There is a feeling of peace and satisfaction for about a week, and then I'm just mad I don't have another tag. Anybody else ever feel that way?

I have it bad. Been reading elk hunting articles at work during lunch. Watching videos at night. Worn about 10 grains off my broadheads from sharpening them.Packed and repacked gear.The cure for me is 23 days away.Good luck.
