I AM TRYING TO LOCATE FOUR UW LANDOWNER ELK TAGS IN A UNIT THAT I CAN GET SOME RELIABLE INFORMATION ON. TAGS ARE AVAILABLE, BUT GOOD INFO. IS HARD TO COME BY. THIS IS GOING TO BE A JAN/ FEB HUNT. WILL CONSIDER ANY PART OF THE STATE, JUST LOOKIN FOR A DECENT BULL/FAIR NUMBER OF ELK/ GOOD HUNT. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I talked with my friend today. He has the permits but they are "unit wide" permits and with the "unit wide" permits you will have to hunt during the designated seasons. You would need a "ranch only" permit to hunt in Jan. The unit holds some amazing bulls and he has been out scouting the unit for quite a while now. He has seen some terrific bulls and the cost of the permits seemed really reasonable to me. PM me for more information if you are interested.
