camping unit 23 NM

I'm heading up to 23 this month to find a place to camp, the less people the better, I'll be coming in on the NM side any help before I go next week would be great. Thanks

Which part of the Unit are you planning to hunt? There's alot of country in 23.

We will be in the hunting the Blue Range and below we are taking two vehicle the other guy is taking a travel trailer. I know there are no motorized vehicles allowed in the wilderness so anything above there or below any ideas will be appricated. Thanks.

You can try the Pueblo Park entrance for the southern part of the Blue, or you can go in at saddle MT road which is just south of Luna. These two roads will meet eventually. Another way to get in is from Alpine AZ just across Luna lake, this road will also connect with the Pueblo Park road. It just depends on which part of the Blue you will be hunting. Make sure your in NM if you go in through Alpine.

Just got back from the Gila thanks for the info. on the camping found some spots above and below the Blue Range. We did some hiking did not see much sign. If one of the guys can get off we will go a week before and try to locate. They were not sounding off yet. Thanks for your help.
