This isnt a good picture but it was taken at 500 yards.I know there not monsters but they sure do get the heart a pumpin! what do you think the white horned bull might score?

That does get the old ticker goin. It's hard to say what the big guy would score with the angle he is. But I would have say 350+. That's a safe bet anyways. Do you have a tag this year? It's hard to chase spikes when one of your hunting partners is chasing big bulls on the same mountain! Maybe next year I can chase the big guys also,I can only hope or "dream" for the tag.

My Tag is an "ANY ELK MARBLES MT TAG"! You could say very easy its a dream tag! The marbles mts are in northern califronia and the Elk are Roosevelts! Its my 1st elk tag! And its a fullblown rut hunt (opens the 8th) my only concern is meat recovery but I am finding choices like a packer,friends,etc.

Good luck with the hunt you mentioned. You sure know who your friends are when the bull hits the dirt. Because most of the fun is all but already over. How about you Saxon, you have a tag this year?

Nice photo!

I took this bull last friday the 13th on an early draw hunt"it was my first elk ever".

This is my son with him, sure was fun to a share the hunt with him!

Yes, i do have a tag for this area but this is a total different area then i have hunted the past two years and its been tuff trying to learn it but with the help of some friends i hope to be successful.I know i will sure have fun trying !!!
