No Bugles Yet

I got off work early yesterday, so I took Mo (my lab), and hiked the perimeter of Kennecott property on the Oquirrhs. I didn't see or hear anything until the sun started going down, then it seemed like there were elk coming out of every ravine. I saw a lot of "raghorns", that were sparring with each other, and just about dark, a saw 2 huge bulls. Velvet looks like it is all gone. I did not hear any bugles, nor did I get any answers to my cow call.
Neat place to hike around, and see lots of animals.

I am on the Salt Lake County side (east facing slopes). I start my walk on the road that goes to Copperton, then follow the railroad tracks along the perimeter of Kennecott's property.
I would never leave my dog home........he is my buddy, and enjoys the walks more than I do.
