NM -- hear any bugles yet?

Heading out to northern NM in a few days. Will be hunting up around 10,000 feet....anyone hearing any bugling yet?

I was up at the valles caldera on wednesday. Saw a group of like 20 cows with a nice 6x6 with them. He was kinda of checking cows as they grazing. Also out in the big meadow was a group of about 15 bulls. They ranged from small raghorns to nice 5x5's and 6x6's. Once it got dark I could hear some bugling. Also when we were on our way home there were some cows on the side of the road so we stopped to look at them and we could hear a couple bulls about 200 hundred yards off the road bugling up a storm. So it seems to me that some bulls have gotten into it and some are not into. All the bulls we seen had shed there velvet. Hope this helps and good luck.

I was up in 52 on tues night and heard three or four bulls bugling for over an hour. Got into lots of cows. Pretty sure the bulls are in close proximity. Have fun boys.
