Need some info NM & AZ

Hey guys, help me out a little. I am writing an article for Aug. 2005 SPORTS AFIELD on hunting Apache Tribal lands in NM and AZ. Here are the places I am planning to cover

Jicarilla
Mescalero
Zuni
White Mountain
San Carlos

Are there any others I am missing? Also, if anyone has a good contact with someone at any of the tribes G&F - either director or whoever is in charge of elk, I would appreciate the contact info. Thanks...

Zunis are not Apaches. Completely different birds, if you know what I mean. You may want to not include them if it is an Apache only story...

Oh in that case,

The Hualapai tribe and Navajo tribe also offer limited elk hunting, along with the others you listed. Good luck, sounds like an interesting story.

You may also consider the Acoma. They grow some big bucks and bulls.

The Havasupai reservation in northern AZ has some freakin HUGE bulls, a non-tribal member killed a 430+ with his bow there last year. George Strait hunted there last year and will be back there again this year with Alan Jackson........word on the street is anyway.

Native American land piece?? All I got to say is it is THE BEST HUNTING around....well most of the BEST hunting!! Anyway, SANTA CLARA PUEBLO is right on the top of AWESOME HUNTING.....BEST KEPT SECRET!! We border the Valles Caldera National Monument. There are some great bulls that come out of SCP!!! We have, and probably NEVER will be able to allow non-native to hunt on the reservation. BUT, I would like to talk more on this article, so send me a PM so we can talk.REZ NATIVES... WE GOT IT....STAY PROUD!! Yeah, cocky!!! No just that I am PROUD!!! San Carlos...THE BEST HUNTING IN THE WORLD FOR ELK!!! Anyway...I just wanted to say my piece, cause Native American lands...even though we got screwed....will be that best hunting cause we manage OUR LANDS the way it should!!! Hope I didn't disrespect anyone!!! Just speaking my mind...PM me!!
