Utah hunter education registration change.

I'm a Hunter Ed teacher and thought that you guys might be interested to know that the way to get a blue card for the state of utah will be changing. Here is a link at the DWR website that explains a little bit of what has changed.

I just got that info today as well. Looks like a pretty good idea to me. Hopefully it will be a smooth transition.

so is offical that the age req'm changed from 16 to 12?

never was 16. but it was 14 for big game and still is for this year. it was 12 for small and is now no age limit (for small game) i still belive big game is 14 tho, correct me if i am wrong.

I believe you are correct for the age requirment to hunt different speicese. I don't think there has ever been an age requirment to take the Hunters Education class. Most people would waite until their child was with in a year or two of being eligable to hunt.

Correct, don't know if there ever was an age limit to taking the class, but most did wait.
