Size of elk on the San Carlos vs White Moutain Apache elk? same or different?

After driving around and through these reservations for years, the habitat is adjacent but SCAT is quite a bit lower than the WRA, or at least it seems to be... how different are the elk? and is there any truth that some remnant original Southwestern elk genes may have survived to influence the Yellowstone replants that thrive here now?

I don't know but I just watched bulls of the San Carlos. It was Awsome. I wonder if they would sell me a permit on a 30 year payment plan. I like when the bowhunter almost stabs the bull to stop from being run over by him.

Some people that that the genetics of the Merriams are still around.. I personally think it is good management and the longer season for horn growth. and the easy winters..
