Archery Hunters - 3C West in AZ?

Archery season for elk started over a week ago. I'm wondering if anyone has a story, information, feedback on their archery hunt in Unit 3C West? How many successes do we have out there? Have you seen many cow elk in the unit?

We have been hunting 3C since it opened. The bulls are screaming and there has been no shortage of shot opportunities. Most bulls have been alone and the bulls that have cows only seem to have a few. Check out the thread I started called "AZ Archery Bull" for pics of one of our bulls. Hopefully we will connect on the second one soon.

I have a rifle tag in October for cow elk in 3C West. I would appreciate any info you can provide as to where you've seen the cow elk in 3C West.
