You've got to be kidding me!

What unit? What was the green score? Looks like it was part moose!!!

Thats a unit 8 bull. killed by a friend of mine with a stick bow at 6 yards.

Unit 8 in AZ? What is that little tag on his antler with the wire? Awesome bull, going to unit 8 on Friday for turks!

the little wire tag is how the taxidermist keeps the rack with the correct cape (if I'm not mistaken) :) -which, by the way, doesn't always look much like the cape you brought in especially if the elk was wallowing or had a lot of blood/dirt on it - etc.

Holy cow, one horney moose must have just settled for a cow elk. That thing is Awesome, I just have to keep telling my self someday, someday.

Pretty cool mount that will make. He'll be lying to his grandkids about that one... "It was half moose and half elk, 8 ft at the shoulders and weighed 2000 lbs...."

Ha!!!!

I just hope my grandkids will even give hunting a second thought!!!

What a thrill to see the bull you killed making the rounds on the web.

The little tag on the antler IS how the taxi's keep track of the horns they have laying around their shop.

I shot him on a wednesday and had to get back for class at U of A on friday, so I dropped the head and cape off at my taxi in phoenix thursday and picked the horns up on my way back up to 8 friday night. My dad drew a tag also, so I went back up to help him (with no luck) and thats were the pic was taken, in our camp firday night.

Thanks for all the nice words guys. LB

That's Andy Knowlton.

Remember his name.

He isn't lucky he's good! He's killed six different species with the same longbow just since last August. Mule deer, lion, bear, coues deer, javelina, elk. I have seen Andy go from a frustrated teenager who was dedicated to traditional bows no matter how tough the going got, to a serious successful bowhunter in just a few years. He's never taken a big game animal with anything but a trad bow. He's managed to go to college while doing it too. He's a bowhunting fanatic. Just ask his EXgirlfriends.

That bull is the definition of TOAD. I measured it the best I could with all the palmation but I won't spoil the mystery on the score. I'll tell you one thing it has more character than just about any bull I've ever seen.

Keep up the good work Little Bear!

Chris!!!!!!

Stop Im blushing, lol. I have had some pretty good direction too in the past few years. Thanks Again. LB
