Well after a year's wait...I'll be in NM in less than 48 hours. My hunt starts Monday on the Jicarilla. The bulls are still bugling real strong, and they have had good luck this week. I know of 2 bulls around 325 and a 341 that were killed on Wed. I am worthless right now, and can't wait. Hopefully in a week or so, I'll have some photos to post...

Good luck to you! I hunted the Jicarrilla 3 or 4 years ago and it was a blast! We saw so many elk it was incredible! The biggest problem we had was a lot of the better bulls were busted up from fighting. I ended up killing a decent 6 point. Post pics when you get back! What an awesome hunt! Have a great day.
